Fort of the Annunziata

The Annunziata Fort was built, at the behest of the Savoy government, between 1831 and 1837 in order to strengthen the western border of its domains.
From its parade ground an extraordinary view opens up which includes, to the west, the plain of Latte, the Hanbury botanical gardens and the Balzi Rossi caves, up to Cap Esterel; to the east, the modern city, beyond which the remains of the Roman municipium are preserved and the gaze can be pushed towards the tip of Sant'Ampelio in Bordighera, to get lost rotating in the marine horizon.

Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta

In the year 675 of Rome, a noble citizen of Inteleliese, Emilio, codified at his own expense a delubro dedicated to the goddess Juno (of which a precious inscription walled up in the right aisle is preserved). Throughout the 1800s the cathedral was heavily remodeled, changing its forms. Next to the minor apse on the left, at a lower level, stands the baptistery, inside there is a 13th century immersion basin in the center and another older basin, in the shape of a mortar
Porta Canarda
