Apricale

The small village of Apricale rises in the hinterland of Bordighera, a few kilometers from the Riviera di Ponente. Behind it, a breathtaking panorama: the Maritime Alps form the backdrop to a village built entirely of stone, a suggestive reminder of the medieval period.
But Apricale is also particularly fascinating for another reason. Indeed, Apricus means "sunny", and its position perched on a hill surrounded by green olive trees honors the name that this village bears. The entire town winds through endless stone alleys, a perfect example of the Ligurian alleyways that are a source of pride for our beautiful country.
Triora

It was a tragic story that happened at the end of the 1500s that gave this medieval village the nickname of "Land of witches". Some local women were in fact accused of witchcraft, undergoing one of the most famous trials held in our country. So ferocious as to make the country nicknamed the "Salem of Italy". A place where time seems to have stopped. The walls of the ancient village still surround the citadel and its narrow alleys that go up, down and cross from time to time, ending in small squares or leading to the door of some door where a witch is depicted. The remains of the ancient defensive towers and of the ancient castle are still visible, built entirely into the rock on the highest point.
San Remo

Located along the Riviera dei Fiori, it is a well-known tourist resort, renowned for the cultivation of flowers, hence the nickname "City of flowers". It also hosts the arrival of the Milan-San Remo cycling race (one of the classic cycling monuments), the Italian Song Festival, the Tenco Prize, the car rally; it is also home to one of the four casinos in Italy.
Upper Bordighera

The historic center of Bordighera is an ancient village set on a gentle hill overlooking the sea in the past inhabited by a few families of fishermen who divided their time between work at sea and in the countryside.
In the city of Bordighera Monet is struck above all by the beautiful colors of the vegetation, by the sea, the sky, by the palm trees soaring along the Beodo path
